Hello there and welcome! I am Chazzam and I read and write larger quantities of Klaine fic than could be considered healthy in any culture. My blog mostly just feeds that illness, but kittens and comics and political rantings and feminist fist-shaking and delicious vegetarian food and pictures of lovely boys (in various states of undress) all get a fair shake too. If Dave’s parents kicked him out of the house and essentially disowned him after realizing he was gay, even after he had tried to kill himself, he would be exactly like many of the youth I work with. I think it’s why I have such a soft spot for him. The episode didn’t impact my day greatly, except that it gave me a fresh appreciation for the strength it takes to be young, gay, rejected and seemingly unloved, and to survive anyway. My heart fucking aches for those folks that don’t believe they have the right to take up space in the world.
