Hello there and welcome! I am Chazzam and I read and write larger quantities of Klaine fic than could be considered healthy in any culture. My blog mostly just feeds that illness, but kittens and comics and political rantings and feminist fist-shaking and vegetarian delicacies and pictures of lovely boys (in various states of undress) all get a fair shake too. Oh, and sometimes this turns into a tiny house blog. So there's that.
Before you jump in, there are a few things you should know: 1) SHIPS:Pretty much just Klaine. I don't mind it when things get a bit multishippy here and there, but don't try to talk me out of a Klaine endgame. 2) SPOILERS: This is basically a fair-weather spoiler-free blog. I do sometimes post spoilers (I always tag), but tend to go spoiler-free whenever fandom loses their shit and people start getting weird and mean. 3) PORN: This blog is NSFW. As such, it is not intended for those under the age of 18. I don't post much in the way of porn, and what I do post will generally be under a cut, but I don't censor artwork. If it contains nudity and/or sex acts, I will tag it as NSFW so that you can blacklist it if you please.Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Thank you, my dear. Yeah, I realized my mistake but by then I had already started, so I figured I may as well roll with it. I’ll just have 2 weeks’ worth of glease posts, I guess! ;)
blurtitoutalready replied to your post: Man, Firefox is slow and annoying and pissing me…
Have you tried going to the tumblr “Settings” and turning OFF unlimited scrolling? I was having some computer freezing weirdness issues but that sorted them right out immediately. I was amazed though it makes scrolling a bit annoying.
Oooh, thanks for the suggestion! It can’t be any more annoying than what tumblr’s doing now, so I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
It SO exists! Oh my god, it’s fucking ridiculous. When I first got involved in this fandom, it was actually kind of hard to find a fic where Kurt wasn’t exclusively bottoming and intensely feminized. I feel like that has changed a lot, and clearly there are some folks that are very, very unhappy with the change.

(San Francisco, CA, January 12, 2012)—The following is a joint statement from Lambda Legal, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the American Civil Liberties Union, Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders, and Freedom to Marry:
We write to respond to a news report from Canada that a lawyer in the current government has taken a position in a trial-level divorce proceeding that a same-sex couple’s marriage is not valid because the members of the couple were not Canada residents at the time that they married, and the law of their home jurisdiction did not permit them to marry at the time.
No one’s marriage has been invalidated or is likely to be invalidated. The position taken by one government lawyer in a divorce is not itself precedential. No court has accepted this view and there is no reason to believe that either Canada’s courts or its Parliament would agree with this position, which no one has asserted before during the eight years that same-sex couples have had the freedom to marry in Canada.
Canada permits non-residents to marry and thousands of non-resident same-sex couples have married there since Canada first began recognizing the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in 2003. Indeed, Canada’s Parliament codified the equal right to marry for same-sex couples in 2005.
The message for same-sex couples married in Canada remains the same as it is for same-sex couples validly married here in the United States: take every precaution you can to protect your relationship with legal documents such as powers of attorney and adoptions, as you may travel to jurisdictions that don’t respect your legal relationship. There is no reason to suggest that Canadian marriages of same-sex couples are in jeopardy, or to advocate that people try to marry again elsewhere, as that could cause these couples unnecessary complications, anxiety, and expense.

Thank you for this!
blurtitoutalready replied to your post: Hi! I was listening to the radio today and a song came on that totally described Kurt and Blaine’s relationship from The Sidhe. It’s called A Thousand Years by Christinna Perri. I know its from Breaking Dawn, and I’m not a fan of it, but god THIS song! Sorry for this long-winded ask…
wegoteachotheroutofallt… - my friend Andrea made it, it’s a pretty awesome fanvid!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU! This is such a fantastic video!
“1)This blog is decidedly NSFW. I have been known to reblog (mostly) tasteful gay porn in various forms with absolutely no warning.”
- So…….if they are uncomfortable with your pornspam, or they are really young and feel the need to tell you (so that you can do what exactly I’m not sure), or whatever - they’ve been warned since they clicked the ol’ follow button.
Also - whether it is ~okay~ to look at/be exposed to porn when you’re X age is debatable but it’s not your responsibility to ~protect the children~ anymore than your already fair warning post on your main page IMO.
You know what? THANK YOU for that validation. And I know it isn’t my responsibility to protect the kiddos, and I know they easily can (and will, if they are determined) find porn in other places if I don’t post it, it just makes me feel weird because I have nieces and nephews that young and the idea that it’s coming from me just kind of creeps me out. I’ll get over it, though - I mean, the damage is done. I’ve been writing smut and posting porn for months, after all…
blurtitoutalready said: and yet…they were still able to post this to you…
Excellent point, really!
I’ve had a few gay guys comment positively on my smut, and yours is….much better than mine (I mean, you take some liberties but it’s a fantasy world so it makes sense) so I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
You are too sweet. Although I am absolutely sure that he will read my Shiftings stories too, some of which are pretty much PURE smut, and with no fantasy world to hide behind. I just hope he finds them more hot than ridiculous…
Yeah, good point.
